Our Approach
At Yuna, our day begins with a love for flowers that wakes us up at the crack of dawn – around 5am – when we set off for the flower market. It’s here that we meticulously select the finest stems and foliage available. Fostering relationships with local growers is a cornerstone of our philosophy, and for over ten years, we’ve been dedicated to sourcing our flowers from Australian suppliers whenever possible.
Once we return to our vibrant studio, a place alive with hanging gardens and a bathtub brimming with blooms, our creative process truly begins. Here, we start sketching out designs for our installations. We craft unique floral arrangements for venues and clients not just in Melbourne but also in locations far beyond, bringing our distinctive touch to a wide array of settings.
Our Philosophy
Central to our studio ethos is a deep appreciation for the beauty and structure of flowers, enhanced by our innovative approach. Our passion lies in honoring the splendor of nature through our creations, and our commitment to using seasonal blooms and greenery ensures we stay in harmony with nature’s rhythms. Our dedication to ethical and sustainable practices is unwavering. This commitment is reflected in our use of recycled materials for packaging and wrapping, and in our initiative to donate excess flowers and plants to Flower Angels, a charity that fosters wellbeing through the power of flowers. We are constantly exploring new ways to minimize our environmental impact and to make a positive contribution to our local community.
